Marbella

Marbella is known all over the world as one of the most beautiful and most stylish holiday destinations in Southern Europe. Marbella is situated in the heart of the Costa Del Sol and has retained its typical Andalucian flavour. Narrow streets, whitewashed houses and squares full of flowers typify Marbella and all this surrounded by the sea and the mountains. Marbella has it all with its endless beaches (Marbella has 27 kilometres of coastline distributed in 24 different beaches), mountains, old world charm, cosmopolitan atmosphere and services, countryside and city, numerous golf courses, leisure ports, many varied restaurants and shops.

Due to its geographical location Marbella enjoys a special micro climate with no harsh winters or uncomfortably hot summers. The sun shines on average for 320 days per year and there are less than 50 rainy days.  Puerto Banus, located just six miles from the centre of Marbella is one of the most famous ports on the Costa Del Sol. Today it is the ‘home’ of many yachts and boats of all shapes and sizes and these sit serenely into the wonderful surroundings year round. The port has many restaurants and bars which are very popular at all times of the day and night and there are over 350 shops and boutiques to enjoy browsing. Marbella itself is 45 minutes taxi ride from Malaga airport (approx Euro 65-75) and  1 hour from Gibraltar airport.
